The 876PH-TYFN-7 measures the conductivity of aqueous solutions, displaying results in µS/cm, mS/cm, or percentage (%). It simultaneously monitors solution temperature for automatic temperature compensation, with optional real-time temperature display. The analyzer provides isolated output signals proportional to measurements for transmission to external receivers. The plastic panel-mounted version transmits one output signal, while metal-enclosed models support dual outputs.

Software & Customization
Equipped with a standard software package, the 873 Analyzer’s microprocessor enables user-defined parameter configuration across four categories:
- Measurement Range
- Alarm Configuration
- Diagnostics
- Output Characterization
All settings are stored in nonvolatile EEPROM memory, ensuring retention during power interruptions. Metal-cased 220/240 V AC models comply with the 876PH-TYFN-7 when sensor and power cables are routed through rigid metal conduit.

- Surface Preparation: Identify mounting location (refer to PL 611-016).
- Drilling: Use the wall bracket (12) as a template to drill four 9.53 mm (0.375 in) diameter holes.
- Bracket Attachment: Secure wall bracket (12) using four user-supplied bolts, washers, and nuts.
- Universal Mount Assembly:
a. Insert hex bolts (5) through spacer (3) into support bracket (2).
b. Add nylon washers (11) to bolts.
c. Attach universal mounting bracket (1) and tighten components (9, 10, 16) finger-tight. - Analyzer Securing: Slide analyzer into support bracket, fasten strap clamp (4) with screws/nuts, and secure to bracket.
- Pivot Bolt Installation: Align bracket assembly with wall bracket holes, insert pivot bolt (13) through washer and locking nut (14, 15).
- Position Adjustment: Rotate analyzer assembly horizontally to desired orientation and lock with screw/washer.

Key Functions & Operation
- SHIFT Key: Press and hold to activate dual-function key upper modes. Single-function keys ignore SHIFT. Holding SHIFT extends the 10-second timeout for extended parameter viewing.
- Temperature Display: Toggles between process temperature (rounded value with °C/°F legend) and tenths-place digit. Manual compensation values can be edited in this mode (excluded in Automatic mode).
- Operate Mode: Upon power-up, the analyzer performs self-diagnostics and defaults to real-time measurement display. Users can view measurements, temperatures, and all configured parameters (Configuration Setup and Basic Setup Entries).
