Startup Procedure
Step 1: Parameter Initialization
1. Access relay via DIGSI 5 (v7.90+)
2. Load settings file: GFD563A101_BaseSettings.sid
3. Configure:

4. Set system frequency: 50/60Hz

Functional Testing
Method A: Secondary Injection (Recommended)
1. Connect Omicron CMC 356:
- I∠0° to Terminals X1.1-X1.2 (Phase A)
- V∠0° to X2.1-X2.3 (Gen Voltage)
2. Execute test sequence:
[Test 1]: 120% Iₙ ∠0° → 51V trip in 650ms ±20ms
[Test 2]: 30% I₅₇N ∠-45° → 64G trip in 35ms ±2ms
3. Validate LED: "TRIP" red + LCD event log entry
Method B: Primary Injection
[Requirements]
Test_Set = Megger TPR1800
Safety_Clearance = 1.5m (arc flash boundary)
Procedure:
1. Energize generator at 10% Vₙ
2. Apply 150% I₅₇N via primary injection
3. Verify 87G restraint characteristic: I_diff/I_bias ≤ 0.25
Commutation to Live Operation
1. Remove test blocks:
- CT shorting links (X1.11-X1.12)
- VT grounding links (X2.7-X2.9)
2. Enable outputs:
HMI → "CONTROL" → "RELEASE BLOCKING"
3. Monitor:
• Real-time measurements: |V_L-L|, ΣI, f
• Harmonics: THD-V < 3%
