Hardware Installation‌

1. ‌Pre-Safety Checks‌

   • De-energize the host system and verify 0V at terminals using a certified multimeter.
   • Use ESD wrist strap bonded to the S800 rack’s grounding point (ESD protection ≥1MΩ).

2. ‌Module Insertion‌

   • Align module grooves with S800 rack guides (slots 4–15 compatible).
   • Insert at 30° angle until backplane connector seats, then rotate downward until latch snaps.
   • Secure with top/bottom M4 screws (torque: 0.8 N·m ±10%).

3. ‌Compact-Specific Steps‌

   Applies to NINT-72C only:

   • Engage DIN rail clips (for auxiliary mounting): Push module onto 35mm rail until “click”.
   • Validate clearance: ≥50mm above/below module for ventilation.

   • ‌Redundant PSU‌ (optional): Connect backup to ‌TB2‌ (pins 3+: 24V, 4–: 0V).

• ‌DO NOT HOT-SWAP‌: Power cycle required for module replacement.
• ‌ISOLATION CHECK‌: Verify 500VDC isolation between channels before energizing.
• ‌AMBIENT‌: Operate at –40°C to +70°C; derate above 55°C per IEC 61131-2.

   • Set rotary switches (SW1-SW2) for logical address:
